I wore this zipped under a shell on a chilly hike and the warmth was impressive without being bulky. The zip makes it easy to cool down mid-climb, which I really appreciate on variable days.

The fleece backing traps heat so well that I’ve worn it as my only top on chilly morning hikes, and the zip lets me vent without taking the whole thing off. It’s heavier than my usual layers, but that’s exactly what I wanted for winter walks.

The double zipper is a nice touch for adjusting ventilation without fully opening it up. It's surprisingly warm for how lightweight the fabric feels against my skin.
